unexpected

I had a really shitty time in high school. To be honest, the coursework was fine... just mostly boring. The relationships I had with my teachers were pretty awesome. But the social aspect SUCKED.

And today, I had someone apologize for being apathetic about my shitty social situation in high school. It made my day, in a really sort of awesome way. During hell week, when I saw a couple kids from high school in the band, I was scared. It was only one of them that actually worried me though... I didn't want to go through the same sort of shit here in college that I did in high school.

So when I started texting this guy today, I wasn't sure what to think, exactly. And then he eventually apologized if he made my life any hellish-er in high school, basically.

I know high school's over and it's a thing of the past, but I don't feel quite as shitty about my time there anymore. Also, I can't wait until the 10+ year high school reunions and I get to see all of the people who made my life hell... I really hope that by that time, they've all had seven kids and have married somebody completely douchey.
