almost

I'm almost done... Tomorrow's my last day of class. I've got two tests to take, and then I'll be done for about two weeks.

Thank God.

But, things are (pretty much) going well. After my classes today, I went to the doctor's and got a shot. Meh, no big deal. And then, I went past my orthodontist's place (is he still my orthodontist if I haven't seen him for a very very very long time?) to set up an appointment to get some new retainers.

I don't know if I've ever posted the story about my retainers here on my blog, but that's okay... It's not really anything that special. Basically, I was in band one day, and I had to take out my retainers in order to be able to play my trumpet. During rehearsal, my retainers were sitting IN MY BAND LOCKER. I didn't have it locked during the rehearsal because there wasn't anything in the locker worth stealing. Apparently, that was a horrible assumption.

Somebody stole my retainers. Who in their right mind steals retainers? I mean, first of all, they're über gross. And, second, what would they do with them anyway? They're custom fit! Basically, whoever stole my retainers would probably fall under the category of "stupid." Who takes retainers?

So, I've been without retainers for a while now, and I'm fairly certain my teeth have moved since then. Sure, they haven't moved that much, but I'd prefer that they didn't move any more. My dad filed taxes last year or this year or whatever and set up a flex account. Due to some fluke at his work, he ended up setting up an account with more than our family needed. So, if it doesn't get used by a certain date, then we will lose the money that wasn't used. So, I'll be helping him out by using flex dollars to get new retainers.

I should probably go study a little bit for my two tests, but instead, I'm going to watch some TV. I'll study later... probably.
