Ten (ish) year olds are very exhausting. And, they slow me down while I'm geocaching... ARGH!
I don't like having to repeat myself trying to help her be safe climbing down a pile of rocks... just sayin'.
Also, my morning breath sucks.

multiply that 10-year-old by 30... and do it for 8 hours a day... and then you have my job :)
Oh, for sure; I used to work at a Girl Scout camp, so I totally know what you mean.
On the other hand, though, 30 10-year-olds are easier to play with than one 10-year-old... Because they kind of play with each other, to an extent. The whole individual-undivided attention thing is a lot more taxing, I think.
valid point. though in a group of 30 you're bound to find one outcast who doesn't want to do anything with the other kids... lol.
BUT, there's no reason that the outcast needs your undivided attention... and usually, they're just seeking attention.
