i'm a geek.

My cable/internet was installed on Saturday. So, I've got cable... which is nice. But, due to random crappiness, our internet isn't working. And by not working, I mean that I'm going to have to fix the router between now and... whenever it is I'm supposed to show up for band camp. So, I've got between 24 and 48 hours to fix it... woo! Also, when I plug the ethernet directly into my computer, I'd expect to be able to connect to the internet... nope.

I did a power hour last night... kind of. After about 30 something shots of beer, I wasn't actually taking one every minute... which is fine. Afterwards, some friends and I walked over to another friend's place. On the way there, it was raining and I thought that it felt LOVELY. Also, I bought a medium pizza... which was yummy. What sucks, though, is that today when I was unloading my stuff from home (that I decided to bring after cleaning my room), I found a gift card for Papa John's. I could have gotten a free medium pizza... or like a large and a free one. Or, something. Something that would have been a lot free-r than the pizza that I bought.

I need to get into better shape. I've been telling myself that I'm going to start running. It's happening, the end.

Due to my asthma, I can't run for very long periods at a time right now, but I'm really hoping that I'll be able to overcome that.

So, after watching TV all day, I decided to get off my ass and go for a run. Due to the whole no-internet thing, where'd I end up at? The engineering building. I've got a 24-hour access card, which means that I get a break from the humidity, a little air conditioning (which helps with the asthma a bit), and water fountains. Alls I had to do was tie my apartment key to my shoe (I think smart-ly) and find a place to shove my access card. My shorts don't have pockets in them. I shoved the access card into my sports bra. Nummy.
