You can't tell how you're acting, unless you look at yourself from an outsider's point of view. One way of doing this is to ask people how they think you're acting, and to make sure that they're being honest. The other way of doing this is to be somebody else, and observe you. Seeing as how the latter is impossible, I guess you're stuck with the first option.
It's kind of like hearing yourself talk... You might think you sound a certain way, but to others, you sound completely different.

Is this aimed at me, Ben, random other person? You got pissed when I asked if we were still friends, maybe you should consider how other people would view that.
Another point to know how are you acting, is analyzing the post-effects of your actions.
