Well, I've gotten through three weeks of summer classes... too bad I've got another five. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of not looking forward to the next five weeks. It's been super tough to drag myself out of bed lately and drive down to Iowa State. However, after the first three weeks, I'm proud to say that I haven't missed a single class. This is good.
However, I did leave statics early today. I wanted to wear a baseball hat this morning because I had some really gross, greasy hair. And, because of the way I wear my hats, I needed to put contacts in; the hat runs into my glasses if I wear them... but anyways, I haven't been able to wear my contacts recently because of how allergy-season-ish it is. I did it anyway, though.
Well, that was a bad plan... I got into the room I've got statics in, and I go to just briefly rub my eye. Yeah, well, my left contact fell out. So, right as class started, I had to leave and go to the bathroom to put my contact back in. After coming back, my eyes just kind of starting hurting really bad and itching and all that jazz... Eventually, I realized that I needed to leave and drive home and take my contacts out.
Basically, the drive home was scary. I literally pulled into the garage, turned off the car, and then immediately took my contacts out. It was scary, and hopefully my optometrist will be able to help me out with that when I go see him on Wednesday.
Oh, and this weekend's dance recital weekend, meaning I'm going to be super ridiculously busy. This basically means I'm not going to have time to catch up on important stuff, like relaxing.
