After I finish writing this blog and checking some emails, I'm going to bed.
I went down to Ankeny yesterday to visit a friend, and stayed the night... I didn't have a choice, my mom told me to sleep there. Yesterday, I had a fair amount of math homework to do, and it took me a pretty long time; I kept messing mundane details up and getting really weird answers... if I got to the answer at all.
So, between homework and watching one and a quarter movies (Wall-e and The Other Boleyn Girl), I was up pretty late. And then, my friend had to get up and go to work and I needed to drive back to Ames for class today. Um, yes. I left her place at 7:15. Um, this is early. It's always early, but it seemed earlier because I was up late.
So, upon getting back to Ames, I stopped by my house to see if there was anything I missed packing the night before, etc., and then I left early for ISU. Because of how ridiculously tired I felt, I decided to leave my house early to go get some coffee before my first class... Good choice, I think, except for the fact that I had to pee like during class; I hate it when that happens.
And then, I went to The Cafe for breakfast with a friend from high school who had literally JUST finished his last final for this year. He had a gift certificate, so he paid for my coffee (I had another one) and my fruit (I should eat more). It was nice, I guess... I don't like spending money, especially if it's not something I need to spend money on.
Anyway, I started playing video games because I needed a break from homework, and did that for a very very very long time. Eventually, my friend (who I stayed with last night) came up to Ames because she and my mom play golf together. Due to vacations and what not this summer, they had to make up a game or somethingorother tonight for their league play. Afterwards, everybody came back to our house.
We ate dinner (which was amazing), and then sat around and talked for a long time. Long story short, one of the dogs my friend owns, Teddy, is getting old. She's a decent-sized dog (as compared to being super huge or super little), and she's about 13 years old. This is ooooooold. I guess it's apparent that Teddy's getting old and that it won't be too long before she'll need to be put down. Adding onto that, Teddy had cancer, and had the tumor removed a while back. I guess recently, my friend was petting her or whatever, and found another lump. So, the cancer's back, and Teddy's slowly deteriorating, and she's super old.
It's a long blog to get to this conclusion, but overall, I just want to say that this makes me sad. I went with my parents to get my first dog, Crystal, put down, and it was the most horrible thing ever. I mean, she was in a lot of pain, and it was for the better, but it was still really sad. It's bad enough in my memory to where I hate talking about it, and I still start to choke up.
So, on that bad note (sorry), I'm going to bed, because I need some sleep both for obvious purposes and just to kind of forget about sad things (like this) for a while.
i miss you

I miss you too! (facetiously assuming that last comment was about me, mwahahaha)
Umm... it sucks when pets die/need to be put down. I will say from experience that waiting for him/her to actually just die is a lot more emotionally straining than just putting them down when it's time. But, either way, sadness. I'm really not looking forward to when PeeWee starts acting her age...
