trip?

I don't know whether I'll be able to make it to Dubuque on time to see the Cavaliers march on Friday. I've got to take my dog into the ISU vet people to get his drain (and possibly some stitches) removed. However, I'm trying to figure out whether I'll be able to come out to Iowa City this weekend or not. I want to, but I need to make sure that I've got all of my stuff done first.

And then, I need to talk to my parents and make sure that they say it's okay that I take the car, etc. And, I'm going to try to talk to a friend that I know from camp (who lives here in Ames) to see if she'd like to come along too... I don't know whether she'd just decide to take a weekend trip with me or not, but I'm hoping she'll agree to go.

I guess it's pride weekend in IC this weekend? That's kind of fun. I missed the parade in Des Moines on Sunday because my dog came home that morning and needed an ample amount of care/attention.

Hopefully, I can get stuff done and whatnot so I can take a weekend off and just kind of relax with friends and people that I haven't seen in a while!
