not super lame

So, this summer is turning out to be not too super lame. My family and I drove out to Lincoln, NE yesterday morning, and went to my cousin's graduation party. They had some super awesome food, etc. I'm not going to lie... their cake was absolutely delish... it was one that they had ordered from some super awesome guy. Think of this cake being synonymous to one from the Food Network's Ace of Cakes. It was pretty sweet.

However, we get to the party, and somebody said something about there being margaritas being made somewhere and something and who knows. I asked my mother whether it was okay whether I drank at this party (it's usually classy to ask if there are going to be people, like my grandparents, around), and she said it was fine.

So, I was safe and classy and had about two margaritas that were pretty damn yummy. After that, I was feeling the effects of the tequila, so I drank some water... because I'm not going to drink to get drunk at a formal-ish sort of occasion, like my cousin's grad party. And then later, I had two beers. I'm not going to lie, I've kind of gotten used to the taste of beer, and if it's not shitty beer, I'll actually like it. Hurm.

Anyhoozles, throughout this whole morning and what not, I had a friend from the trumpet section at Iowa who was texting me, wondering if I was in Ames. I told him that I would be later in the day, and also said that we should for sure meet up. So, eventually, he and his friend came over to my place and had some raspberry pie. I guess my friend had never had any form of real raspberries... so the fact that he did that at my place was kind of cool. It's amazing how awesomely things (like pies) turn out when you follow the directions... ugh.

On another note, I've got a statics test tomorrow. So, this means I need some sleep, so I'm going to bed.

If you live anywhere close to me, or whatever, just let me know... we should prolly chillax a bit.

I've got this test tomorrow morning, so for reals, I'm going to bed. *love*

NEVER HAD REAL RASPBERRIES?!? That's unacceptable. Really, really unacceptable. His parents have failed him...
